I will take a small group through my process of recording and producing modern, hard hitting drums.

When? November 8th for 9am - 5pm at my studio in Gresham, OR.

The day will include:

• Dressing and tuning drums for recording (with a focus on tuning to the key of the song). I’ll show some of my favorite tricks for dampening and tailoring the tuning to fit into songs.

• Mic choice and placement, talking about pro’s and con’s to certain techniques.

• Recording a short song

• Drum editing / comping

• How to record and make your own drum samples

• Basic drum mixing and approach

I am limiting this workshop to 5 people to make sure I can help people individually and everyone gets a lot of hands on time.

Food: Coffee and snacks provided, bring your own lunch
